Maternity Sessions~

I have so many new mom's surrounding me this year and have talked to many about maternity sessions. I thought I would share a little information on what a maternity session is all about. Maternity Portraits are a heirloom you will treasure for years to come. This tastefully photographed session can include Dad or siblings at no extra charge. This is one of my favorite sessions. The excitement of the parents to be is certainly contagious.

Generally anytime between the 34th and 36th weeks. This ensures that your baby belly will be big enough to show well in the photos but you will not be so far along you will be uncomfortable during the session.
Everyone has different levels of modesty and different ideas of how they would like the resulting images to look. before your session, we will discuss your vision for the session and we can take it from there. You decide if you'd like to remain fully covered or if you'd like to try some tasteful partially nude poses.

Boudoir Sessions:

When was the last time you looked at a picture of yourself and KNEW you looked sexy? Not just pretty, not just beautiful, but... WOW? And if you are thinking to yourself that you just aren't the wow sort, then I beg to differ.

Boudoir photography showcases a woman's beauty. It makes the perfect gift to give your significant other for Valentine's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, or anniversaries. But boudoir sessions can also be just for you - to remind you of your own beauty, your own power.

The word “Boudoir” is the French word for bedroom. “Boudoir photography” refers to images that have themes of love, romance, sensuality, and flirtation. Boudoir photography captures the frame of mind of love, affection, romance, sexuality, strength, and expression.

While the images may exude sexuality, the actual session is nothing but fun. It is the adult version of getting to play dress up. There is sometimes some blushing, but always a lot of laughing.

They are held on location determined by client (home, hotel etc.)
