Life is moving to fast~ I have been reflecting a lot lately and wish that some how I could set and watch a movie of my life I feel as if I have forgot small details of just everyday life from when I was still living at home with my parents, early in my marriage, when the children were small etc. I am 43 and married to my best friend for 21 years and my oldest is 19 and youngest 16 and wishing I could hit the rewind button and rewatch a few episodes of my everyday life from the past… I was looking out the window the other night and noticed how the snow was falling under the street lights. It reminded me of a time when the kids where little and I was a stay at home mom. Those long winter days with two little ones trying to find things to entertain them. One evening after my husband came home from work, I was a bit stir crazy (cabin fever) we bundled the kids up and went for a walk under the street lights in the snow, it looked like diamonds coming down. It was one of those moments in life, not a big event just a simple moment when all was right in the world. I had everything I could ever want. Those are the times I wish I could rewatch, I am sure so many of them have happen that I don’t even remember. Times have gone by and in that moment you where wishing would pass and now they are gone and you really miss them. We can’t wait until we graduate High School and start our lives, we can’t wait to get out of college and start our lives, we can’t wait to get married and start our lives together, we can’t wait to have a baby and start our lives as a family, we can’t wait till the kids grow up and start our lives again together. We are wishing our lives away by doing this… Life is NOW, its going on as I type this blog as a parent is walk their colicky baby up and down the hall for the 4 night this week. LIFE is now……. If my children learn anything I hope its that this moment is your Life~ We get so wrapped up in everyone’s busy schedules we don’t make time to just take a moment and celebrate life now. Don’t forget to just breathe and enjoy what is happening right now around you THIS IS YOUR LIFE!
